Stagecoach

WEATHER: very warm and sunny, over 30 °C

As we live quite far from the town centre and the rail station, I need to travel by bus if I want to go to those places. Busses come in about every half hour, are very comfortable with very kind bus drivers.

Since Ashford is quite big there are several bus lines:


My line is the green G line. A single ticket to town centre or to the rail station costs £1.40. If you buy a return ticket it costs only £2.40.

They are much shorter than Hungarian busses. The reasons are the following: 1. Streets are often very narrow, so longer busses couldn't always go there. 2. They come quite often and there is no need for further seats because of the low number of passengers.
